i couldn’t talk at all about Korea, but I doubt NC would give NA Asmodians such freebies if there was no need for them. i do think getting free PvP sets is a bit too much, but the purpose of the program is to make people roll Asmodian - and that works, fair or not to the other faction.

actually afaik (read somewhen 2 years ago) - in the beginning on asian servers asmos were dominating - so they favoured the elyos faction with making quests easier and putting up those three damned cherubs - when 1.5 hit on NA and EU, people that played on CH and KR already knew about the benefits on Elyos side and therefore went there, which lead to an imbalance straight away - not only because of the looks but because the easymode was known already

i have heard this as well; however, having recently levelled an Elyos from scratch, i could not agree their PvE is easier. it’s harder, by far. aside from the first campaign chain and the Balaur language quest, everything else is utterly horrible - just compare Bakarma (which is a very useful instance) to Indratu for example, or Fragment III (heroic instance with no drops) to the Shadow Summons (solo camp doable eight levels below quest level), or even as early as the FT entry quest… no, it’s Asmodians who have it easy. also Elyos grind spots are terrible compared to ours. dunno.

I found in aion tag, all i can see is Asmos complaining over the game, and why Elyos dominating the servers and this and that and complaining over NCsoft why they’re favoring Elyos and so on! I never see any Elyos players on tumblr complaining about the game! if she doesn’t like to play barbies she better quit and play WOW as a TROLL, because trolls dont look like a barbie and less humans

well there’s two things at work here, if not NCsoft then at least western mentality favours the Elyos faction, which invariably leads to a small and weak Asmodian community (ever heard of Elyos faction incentive? no?) of people who either q-uit or q-q. and then there’s also the western mentality which sees Asmodians and thinks they have to look rough and tough and macho and in absolutely no case sweet and pretty. of course everyone is entitled to her own opinion as to how her faction/character should look like, but then don’t be disappointed when the game devs don’t agree with your views!

i always wished the Elyos had horns and their eyes glowed blue. if they were at least a bit removed from the human default perhaps people would use their goddamn brains.

the IU pet is a tiny human with fairy wings, it’s not an Elyos and they won’t make an Asmodian out of it because the IU girl won’t want to have back fur. it’s creepy anyway why would anyone, regardless of faction, want it?
